Kristin Fisher joined CNN on July 20, 2021 as Space and Defense Correspondent. In her new position she is responsible for covering everything from NASA and the recently created Space Force, to commercial companies in space and the rise to space tourism. Being the daughter of two NASA astronauts, Kristin was raised in the industry of space. She worked for the past five years reporting on the Biden and Trump Space policies of the administration as an White House Correspondent for FOX News. As she covered the impeachment trials of two presidents and the presidential campaign for 2020, and both administrations attempts to limit the outbreak of coronavirus, Kristin covered a lot of other things. Kristin was on the road frequently, and both with the president and vice president. She even went on an extremely secret trip to Afghanistan alongside Donald Trump. Kristin was a local television reporter in Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., in which she was awarded the Emmy Award for her work as an "one-man-band" reporter before becoming a reporter for CBS in the year 2015. Kristin began Field Mouse Films with her expertise behind the camera in 2014. Field Mouse Films specialized in making documentary films for corporate clients including Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin earned a bachelors in Science in Journalism from Boston University. She lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband, and their three-year old daughter.
